Journal of the American Oriental Society《美国东方学会杂志》（季刊）. The Journal of the American Oriental Society (ISSN 0003-0279 [print]; 2169-2289 [electronic]) is published quarterly by the American Oriental Society. The first volume (1843-49) set the tone for all time in the broad scope of subject matter and the solidity of its scholarship. From that year to the present day, the Journal has brought to the world of scholarship the results of the advanced researches of the most distinguished specialists in the literatures and civilizations of North Africa, the Near East, South and Southeast Asia, Inner Asia, and the Far East. The pages of the Journal are always open to original and interesting contributions from scholars.

Philosophy East and West《东西方哲学》（季刊）. Promoting academic literacy on non-Western traditions of philosophy, Philosophy East and West has for over half a century published the highest-quality scholarship that locates these cultures in their relationship to Anglo-American philosophy. Philosophy defined in its relationship to cultural traditions broadly integrates the professional discipline with literature, science, and social practices. Each issue includes debates on issues of contemporary concern and critical reviews of the most recent publications.

Acta Orientalia Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae《匈牙利科学院东方学报》（季刊）. Acta Orientalia Hung. provides an international forum for original papers in the field of Oriental studies, including Turkic, Mongolian, Manchu, Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, Indian, Iranian and Semitic philology, linguistics, literature and history of the pre-modern era.

Iran-Journal of the British Institute of Persian Studies《伊朗研究:英国波斯研究所杂志》（半年刊）. BIPS encourages research in all academic fields of activity, but it has traditionally supported archaeology, ancient history, Persian literature (poetry and prose), linguistics, religion, medieval and the modern history of the Persianate world. This list is not exclusive, and IRAN would be happy to consider other subjects for inclusion within the journal.

Nan Nü-Men, Women and Gender in China《男女》（半年刊）. NAN NÜ, from early China to China nowadays, is an interdisciplinary, international, peer-reviewed journal featuring original studies related to men, women, and gender in the fields of Chinese history, literature, linguistics and language, anthropology, archeology, art and music, law, philosophy, medicine/science, and religion. Furthermore NAN NÜ contains a book review section on recent publications in women’s and gender studies. The journal occasionally features review articles and reports about important developments in gender studies. To best reach a wide spectrum of researchers, NAN NÜ is written in English.

Bulletin of the School of Oriental and African Studies-UNIVERSITY OF LONDON《伦敦大学亚非学院通报》（一年3期）. The Bulletin of the School of Oriental and African Studies is the leading interdisciplinary journal on Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. It carries unparalleled coverage of the languages, cultures and civilisations of these regions from ancient times to the twentieth century. Publishing articles of the highest academic standard, it also features an extensive and influential reviews section.

Zeitschrift des Deutschen Palästina-Vereins《德国巴勒斯坦协会杂志》（年刊）. The Society’s periodical publication “Zeitschrift des Deutschen Palästina-Vereins” (ZDPV – Journal of the German Society for Exploration of Palestine) is free to members. Articles cover topics of relevance to the cultural history of the Southern Levant, including archeology, topography, iconography, the science of religion, social anthropology, philology, and literature. Book reviews and notes and news of the society are included.

Chinese Literature and Thought Today《今日中国文学与思想》（季刊）. Chinese Literature and Thought Today contains translations of articles from Chinese sources, primarily scholarly journals and collections of articles published in book form. The aim of the journal is to present the more important Chinese studies in this field in the light of those who are professionally concerned with it.

Bijdragen tot de Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde《东南亚人文社会科学杂志》（季刊）. Bijdragen tot de Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde ( Journal of the Humanities and Social Sciences of Southeast Asia), now more than one-and-a-half century old, is an interdisciplinary journal on Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Indonesia. The editors especially welcome articles from anthropology, history, political science, law, sociology, social geography, development studies, urban studies, literature, socio-linguistics, and economics. Articles requiring significant technical knowledge from our readers (e.g., some economic or linguistic studies) are considered more suited for a disciplinary journal and will not be accepted by the Bijdragen. Submissions about topical issues can be treated with high priority and ‘overtake’ articles brought to our attention earlier.

Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft《德国东方学会杂志》（半年刊）. Die im Jahre 1845 gegründete Deutsche Morgenländische Gesellschaft (DMG) gibt seit 1847 eine eigene, alle Teilgebiete der Orientalistik berührende Zeitschrift heraus. Die Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft (ZDMG) gehört bis in die Gegenwart auch über den deutschsprachigen Raum hinaus zu den bedeutendsten orientalistischen Fachperiodika.
