The Journal founded in 1956, as a professional journal for German and international Slavic research, publishes critical essays on languages and literatures, on popular poetry and on the cultural history of Slavic peoples in the past and present. Special attention is paid to German-Slavic linguistics, literary and cultural relations within their European context, to onomastics, history and poetology of literary genres, Baltic studies, Sorbian studies, and to the history of Slavic studies. Literary reports and reviews give an insight into current tendencies and developments in international Slavonic research. Conference proceedings provide information about important academic events.

The journal presents research on various forms of translation and interpreting approached from historical, cultural, literary, sociological, linguistic, cognitive, philosophical, or other viewpoints that may be of relevance to the development of the discipline.

Acta Linguistica Academica《语言学学术学报》（季刊）. Acta Linguistica Academica publishes papers on general linguistics. Papers presenting empirical material must have strong theoretical implications. The scope of the journal is not restricted to the core areas of linguistics; it also covers areas such as socio- and psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, discourse analysis, the philosophy of language, language typology, and formal semantics. The journal also publishes book and dissertation reviews and advertisements.

Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development《多语言与多文化发展杂志》（一年10期）. The Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development is a cross-disciplinary journal for researchers from diverse scholarly and geographical backgrounds. It is concerned with macro-level coverage of topics in the sociology and social psychology of language, and in language and cultural politics, policy, planning and practice. Authors are encouraged to reject a deficit view of multilingualism and hence avoid terms such as native speaker, non-native speaker and use neutral terms such as L1 user, LX user instead.

POETICA-ZEITSCHRIFT FUR SPRACH-UND LITERATURWISSENSCHAFT《语言文学诗学杂志》（季刊）. When the first issue of the journal POETICA (POE) was published in 1967, the founding editor Karl Maurer wrote in his editorial: “Today, the time seems to have arrived for a ‘philology of the world literature’ (Erich Auerbach), which can no longer afford a specialism buried in a narrow and intimate circle. Methodological achievements and historical knowledge of all philological disciplines have to be constantly exchanged for mutual benefit and encouragement”.

Its aim is to bridge the gap between traditional computational linguistics research and the implementation of practical applications with potential real-world use. The journal publishes original research articles on a broad range of methods and resources applied in NLP, language processing tasks and NLP applications, including (but not limited to) machine translation, translation technology, sentiment analysis, information retrieval, question answering, text summarisation, text simplification, and speech processing.

LiLi-die Zeitschrift für Literaturwissenschaft und Linguistik《文学与语言学杂志》（季刊）. LiLi, die Zeitschrift für Literaturwissenschaft und Linguistik, bietet seit 1971 einen programmatischen Brückenschlag zwischen Linguistik und Literaturwissenschaft. Perspectives-Studies in Translation Theory and Practice《视角: 翻译理论与实践研究》（双月刊）. Perspectives: Studies in Translation Theory and Practice encourages the submission of papers that explore issues concerning all kinds of language and cultural mediation, including but not limited to literary translation, technical and scientific translation, interpreting, audiovisual translation, intralingual mediation and so on. Both empirical and theoretical studies are welcome, but articles should appeal to a wide international readership.
