The Canadian Modern Language Review-Revue canadienne des langues vivantes《加拿大现代语言评论》（季刊）. The Canadian Modern Language Review publishes peer-reviewed articles on second language learning and teaching.

Brain and Language《大脑与语言》（月刊）. An interdisciplinary journal, Brain and Language publishes articles that elucidate the complex relationships among language, brain, and behavior. The journal covers the large variety of modern techniques in cognitive neuroscience, including functional and structural brain imaging, electrophysiology, cellular and molecular neurobiology, genetics, lesion-based approaches, and computational modeling. All articles must relate to human language and be relevant to the understanding of its neurobiological and neurocognitive bases. Published articles in the journal are expected to have significant theoretical novelty and/or practical implications, and use perspectives and methods from psychology, linguistics, and neuroscience along with brain data and brain measures.

Assessing Writing《写作评估》（季刊）. Assessing Writing is a refereed international journal providing a forum for ideas, research and practice on the assessment of written language. Assessing Writing publishes articles, book reviews, conference reports, and academic exchanges concerning writing assessments of all kinds, including traditional (direct and standardised forms of) testing of writing, alternative performance assessments (such as portfolios), workplace sampling and classroom assessment.

American Speech《美国语言》（季刊）. American Speech has been one of the foremost publications in its field since its founding in 1925. The journal is concerned principally with the English language in the Western Hemisphere, although articles dealing with English in other parts of the world, the influence of other languages by or on English, and linguistic theory are also published. The journal is not committed to any particular theoretical framework, and issues often contain contributions that appeal to a readership wider than the linguistic studies community. Regular features include a book review section and a “Miscellany” section devoted to brief essays and notes.

Bilingualism-Language and Cognition《双语：语言与认知》（一年5期）. Bilingualism: Language and Cognition is an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on bilingualism from a linguistic, psycholinguistic, and neuroscientific perspective. The aims of the journal are to promote research on the bilingual and multilingual person and to encourage debate in the field. Areas covered include: bilingual language competence, bilingual language processing, bilingual language acquisition in children and adults, bimodal bilingualism, neurolinguistics of bilingualism in normal and brain-damaged individuals, computational modelling of bilingual language competence and performance, and the study of cognitive functions in bilinguals.

Babel-Revue internationale de la traduction-International Journal of Translation《巴伯尔:国际翻译杂志》（双月刊）. Babel is a scholarly journal designed primarily for translators, interpreters and terminologists (T&I), yet of interest also for non-specialists concerned with current issues and events in the field.

Annual Review of Linguistics《语言学年评》（年刊）. The Annual Review of Linguistics, in publication since 2015, covers significant developments in the field of linguistics, including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and their interfaces. Reviews synthesize advances in linguistic theory, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, language change, biology and evolution of language, typology, as well as applications of linguistics in many domains.

Annual Review of Applied Linguistics《应用语言学年刊》（年刊）. The Annual Review of Applied Linguistics publishes research on key topics in the broad field of applied linguistics. Each issue is thematic, providing a variety of perspectives on the topic through research summaries, critical overviews, position papers and empirical studies. Being responsive to the field, some issues are tied to the theme of that years annual conference of the American Association for Applied Linguistics. Also, at regular intervals an issue will take the approach of covering applied linguistics as a field more broadly, including coverage of critical or controversial topics. ARAL provides cutting-edge and timely articles on a wide number of areas, including language learning and pedagogy, second language acquisition, sociolinguistics, language policy and planning, language assessment, and research design and methodology, to name just a few.

Africana Linguistica《非洲语言学》（年刊）. Africana Linguistica is dedicated to the study of African languages with special focus on Bantu. The journal welcomes original descriptive, historical and typological papers in phonetics/phonology, morphology, syntax, lexicology and semantics. Contributions on poorly documented and described languages or lesser known language areas as well as those trying to integrate linguistics into interdisciplinary approaches of the African past are highly appreciated. Fellow researchers from Africa are especially encouraged to contribute.

Acta Linguistica Academica《语言学学术学报》（季刊）. Acta Linguistica Academica publishes papers on general linguistics. Papers presenting empirical material must have strong theoretical implications. The scope of the journal is not restricted to the core areas of linguistics; it also covers areas such as socio- and psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, discourse analysis, the philosophy of language, language typology, and formal semantics. The journal also publishes book and dissertation reviews and advertisements.
